I still dream of playing baseball, oh boy do I love playing baseball (same as basketball, shh). I am always contemplating joining a softball team, I do not know what it is. I just love feeling my bat slug the ball, and I love the feeling of throwing/tagging someone out. Three things that feel like nothing else:

1. Making contact with the ball sending it out to Neverland.
2. Rounding first/second base and sliding in to second/third base and being called safe on a close call.
3. Catching a ball and then throwing someone out for a double play.

Well, as I have found a new game that rocks my socks! It's called "Baseball," they have two modes of play. First, is Bottom of the Ninth and the other is Arcade.

Bottom of the Ninth, you are the home team so you are up to bat at the bottom of the 9th inning. It has three levels of difficulty and each one increases with more runs you have to score.

Arcade is stupid and I'm not good at it. So, figure it out on your own if you like it.

Link: http://www.miniclip.com/games/baseball/en/

Stupid

Well, for the past week I have been watching Suns in the play-offs, just like I did last year. I saw the same thing last year, just more spread throughout the team. What I am astonished at is the total lack of acknoledging their actions, but are they not professions? Should they not be able to control their body better than the average human? I would think so, and I know so myself. I have played a pick up game every once and awhile, and I understand a hard foul.

I do not understand the fact of denying it, or taking a flop. Or intentionally injurying someone. It is perfectly understandable to hurt someone, even in basketball but to actually look to injure someone where they can not play is against the unwritten rules.

I'm NOT like you...

Something of a poem...

I’m not like everyone else, born different without a home,
No one like me, no one can see, I’m all alone.

I hide what I am and who I came to be.
If you knew the truth you too would hate me.

You have no idea what lies inside me.
If you did, friends no more would you be.

I walk among you an ugly wolf in beautiful sheep’s clothing.
I look deep into the mirror but I can not stop this painful self loathing.

I am a monstrosity, a freak amongst the pure.
You believe I am diseased, you need to find the cure.

Pain, anger and agony, why must this always be?
No longer can I contain the animal within me.

Why must this life torment me so?
Will true happiness ever find me? I did not care all that much if he did, he thinks I am to focused on things that do not matter. Little does he know that I love the sport of powerlifting, and I like to help people out.

Future life

I have thought, then changed, and then thought about it again. I know what I want to be when I grow up. Some people tell me not to hurry or rush my decision and I am not really rushing it I will keep an open mind I just always go back to this set of path in my life.

I want to become a preacher...yep, I want to be ordained. I may not preach every Sunday or anything, I may just do friends weddings and baptisms but I want to become a preacher. My work I want to work as a personal trainer, athletic trainer, or strength and conditioning coach. I also want to be a powerlifter, in my imagination I want to become a 308 pound monster of a man that preaches the good word and has the power of an ox all in the name of the Lord.

Campaign

I said a few days ago that I would let you guys in on my new campaign or ministry. Well bascially all my efforts for the rest of the year will be for Christ. I am calling it All About Christ (ABC), I figure it will be a plug and play ministry. The reason I chose ABC is that it seems simple, right now that is what it is. It's a simple ministry to give a little something to the world. Nothing huge and I might merge into IMPACT or I might change my identity into something else when the time comes. I will be affiliated with IMPACT Ministries with my local Youth Pastor, Craig Walker.

So my goals are as follows:

Five (5) shirt design to sell as witness wear.

Article atleast once a month dealing with God/Athletics (this might be more frequent but atleast once a month).

One Sermon before December 31.

My physical goals:

Weigh in at 260 lbs.

Bench of 250 lbs.

Squat 400 lbs.

Deadlift 400+ lbs.

Training Log

I decided to just write down my training log into a note book so I can access anytime I need to. I have decided that I have not been getting enough daily bread (in both senses) so I will be taking time from now on to pack 4 snickers and 1 pop-tart each morning. I will also before going to bed write down a verse that inspires me to go all out in weight training.

New Article

There is a new article coming out this weekend, hopefully I can get it to the church in time before I leave out of town to go get a little R&R. It will be up for two weeks because of the fact that the dad's will be out of town for the weekend up to the Men's Retreat. I pray for all the men that are going up that they get a lot of good out of this trip. This trip here is something I call the "recovery" part of our training under God. You will be in a stress free enviroment, meaning this is where you will grow here.

I will show you in a metaphor of sorts, in the week to week life of a Christian is like working out and stimulating your muscles (struggles through the week) and then at the end of the day you go to bed and recover (church on Sunday). Now it is best to take naps through out the day to best stay healthy through the day (bible studies, readings, etc. through out the week). This retreat is like the once every so on you have that night of sleep that goes for 12-15 hours without being disturbed. This is the important thing to do, to give you the refreshment of going back in to battle (the gym or the sinful world).

Ice Cream

This is a little off course but I have a little rant to give everyone. I am a man of God, but truth be told I like food, I mean I am close to 250 lbs here. The topic for this section is ice cream, homemade ice cream to be specific. There is only one, in my mind (yes a little bigotry), flavor homemade ice cream should be, vanilla.

I was doing a little experiment with my colleagues in making ice cream. Well I was with four girls and leave it to the girls to mess up home made ice cream. They insisted on pouring the packet of cocoa powder into the ice cream mix. None sense I thought, well thank goodness they did not get enough in there to take away from the vanilla taste. All the powder did was turn it a shade of brown.

Remember people, vanilla is the only way to go. Unless you have Hershey's chocolate.

Now, you may ask why this is the way I believe, and I have a strong belief in such things as how food should taste. It is because I am a country boy with a Grandma, that I love so much and she loves to make her baby boy some good food. I have not been able to get to the church or write an article because of my family situation and being busy. I have even missed lots of church and other times to hypertrophy in the name of the Lord.

Back in the groove

Well, I am doing good in my training. I have been able to place 4th in my last competition. Always improving at a steady pace, which is how I like to do stuff because making big jumps of faith and strength usually result in weeks and months at a plateau which usually puts me at ground zero with my faith. I just started a ground zero with my faith in God recently.

I just was constantly busy, which honesty is not an excuse because not going to church is not a reason not to grow, there is always solo-bible studies, and the evangelist channels. Just like if you can not go to your gym to train is not an excuse since there are ways to train outside the gym.

Training for powerlifting

I will be starting my training for powerlifting soon, I am hopefully to get some nice jumps since never really trained for it. It will be short as so it can be read in one sitting. And if you can not read it in one sitting then you can visit my weblog at the address [http://athleticworship.blogspot.com/].

I have been studying athletic training for three years now. Since then, I have found many similarities between my athletic training and the building of the relationship between Jesus and myself. I have built myself up from a weakling into a powerful creation, in more ways than one. As I was turned to God, I was also turned to a higher level of athletics around at the same time.

I have read articles written by the men and women in the field of athletic training and I have listened to the men and women of the word and the basics are all the same. There are four basic things in order to make yourself grow towards your goal:

Committing yourself

Daily Bread

Workout Everyday

Recovery

It is most important to commit yourself, if that’s either throwing away junk food to keep that extra fat off you, so not to slow you down, or throwing away that secular pile of magazines that slows your spiritual growth down.

Next time, we will discuss further on things you can do to help yourself commit yourself to the Lord Jesus. We will also be talking about not lying to yourself about your commitment as it is easy to show the world our false commitment to look good.

Love is God,

Church [bathroom] Mouse

Introduction of this weblog!

This is the first post on this weblog, it is to log my [Christian] thoughts about things, and also to post articles. If you are at this site, it is likely you stumbled onto it by reading one of my articles in a stale or urinal at Glendale Christian Church. I decided to place these into the men's bathroom one day while I was day dreaming and came up with the idea.

Rule(s):

No one will ever know my name or who I am* through my articles or this page.

I will try to post an article every week.

I will not post the article on the weblog until after service on Sunday, or

if I am not able to make it to church that day.

I would love your comments on my articles, as well as my thoughts. Just be courteous, and

No swearing,

    sexual innuendo.

    devil worship. or

    soliciting.

- Church [bathroom] Mouse

* I will not announce my name anytime now or in the future (my own father does not know I write this article).
